This is a cool chrome plated retro, mid century chrome tea tin, tea caddy or tea canister made in the USA in the 1950s by Chromex, USA.

The tea tin or tea caddy or tea canister measures 4.5 inches high by 6.5 inches long not counting the curved front handle, by 5 inches wide.

There are 2 black plastic handles, one in the front that says TEA, and one in the recessed top of the friction fit lid.

The interior is in very good +++ used vintage condition and the interior shows almost no signs of use except a tiny bit of corrosion in place as seen in the photos. On the exterior, no flaws except for a bit of wear on the white paint of TEA on the front handle.

The tea tin or tea canister is very decorative and the chrome makes it a great retro item! A great kitchen accent.
