Royal Chelsea Teapot 18th Century Couple Romantic Fancy Hand Painted 1950s
This is a beautiful all hand painted Royal Chelsea, England teapot featuring a romantic design of an 18th century dress courting couple.
The extremely high quality teapot was made between 1951-1961 and features the signature on the design of J. P. T. 1922 with enamels and hand applied gold dentil borders, accents and burnished gold trim.
The gorgeous teapot measures 6 inches high by 10 inches long spout tip to handle edge by 7 inches in diameter and would hold 4 cups.
The pattern seems to be either H 685 or 489 H depending on the way you look at it!
The romantic teapot is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and is gorgeous. It has been used, but that is to be expected!
A perfect set for afternoon tea. Such a pretty pattern and gorgeous gold design! Beautiful!
