This is a 3 piece German porcelain tea diffuser ball or acorn shape with chain, hook and porcelain drip cup with a botanical herbs and spices design from Kaiser, Germany 1960-1970s.

The acorn shape tea diffuser lid unscrews to hold loose tea or other tea making ingredients. The ball is put into a cup or teapot, held or suspended with the chain and then placed in the cup upon removal. 

The design includes plant drawings with botanical names.

The tea diffuser measures overall when assembled 3 inches high, the holder cup is 2.2 inches high by 2.25 inches in diameter and the chain & hook 5 inches long.

The tea diffuser acorn holder and cup are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or major cracks. There is some crazing in the bottom of the cup.
