This is a Victorian era pink copper luster tea cup and saucer made in the 1830-1840s in Staffordshire in the New York shape.
The wonderful antique luster cup and saucer is completely hand painted with antique or naive copper, pink, purple, red and green flowers with luster decoration and bands.
The cup is 2.25 inches high and the saucer 5.5 in diameter.
The cup and saucer is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but has some light wear and the mineral inclusions seen in early antique Staffordshire ceramics.
A wonderful vintage tea cup, very decorative and a very pretty pattern that was very popular in the early Victorian period.
