This a set of 4 original Victorian era calling cards or visiting cards. The cards were used as gift cards, greeting cards, gift enclosures, message cards. They have various type faces, decorations and styles. We acquired these with a large lot of Victoria ephemera, and were told they had originally been in a scrapbook or visitor's album but had been removed years ago.
