Teapot Tea For One Black Beauty Chintz Nelson Stacking 1930s Tea Pot
This is an absolutely fabulous vintage teapot and stacking sugar bowl or tea for one in a chintz pattern called Black Beauty made by Lord Nelson, England a trademark of Elijah Cotton in the 1930s.
This wonderful vintage black floral chintz tea pot measures 7 inches long by 4 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter, or a 2 cup teapot. The handled sugar or cup 4 inches long by 1.5 inches high by 3 inches in diameter.
This is probably 3 out of 4 parts of a stacking teapot but the creamer arrived from England smashed and I have been unable to replace it yet, hence the low price.
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks with just a bit of gold wear. This is a wonderful piece of the most collectible of Lord Nelson chintzes.
It works perfectly now as a tea for one with a teapot and teacup.
