This is a vintage hand embroidered tablecloth, table topper or tea cloth made 1930-1940s.

The elegant table cloth design features embroidered shiny thread in cross stitch, lazy daisy couching and french knots in a design of flower wreaths and single flowers and a hand made thread crochet shell edging.

The colors of the embroidery are coral from pale to bright, blue from pale to bright, yellow, light green, white and black.

The table cloth or tea cloth is of a heavy cotton linen blend, I believe, and measures 34 inches square, the corners have been shaped and rounded.

The tea cloth is in near excellent condition with no holes or repairs. There is one yellow spot which is pictured which I can't identify.

The only other flaw is 3 french knot ends have pulled through to the front, but they are easily pulled to the back again with a bodkin which I don't have at the moment. 

This is such a pretty design. Shown on a more rectangular table than a card table.
