Swallow Wedgwood Cup And Saucer Pair Polychrome Transferware 1920s Cream Ware
This is a pair of demitasse cups and saucers made by Wedgwood, Etruria England in the Swallow pattern number AK 9671 with molded cream ware ruffled pattern and a wonderful polychrome mulberry transferware pattern of birds, flowers and foliage made in the 1920-1930s.
The cream ware cups are 2.25 inches high and the saucers are 5.25 in diameter.
The cups and saucers are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks and basically no signs of wear. There is some mild age crazing on the saucers which is normal dor this age and material.
Transferware and Wedgwood creamware are perennial favorites and so decorative! And I love the birds!
