Shelley England Tea Tile Teapot Trivet Festoons Roses England 1920s Transferware
SKU:
This is a Shelley China, England trivet or stand for a teapot made between 1916-1925 in a pretty art deco pattern of transferware festoons or swags with hand colored flowers. Love the beaded edge that looks like pearls.
The tea tile measures 7 inches in diameter and has gorgeous mixed flower bouquets and green shields.
The tea tile or teapot trivet is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and very little wear. There is a very small base dent under the glaze from manufacturing, but it isn't seen, only barely felt.
The photos have light strikes from the shiny glaze...they aren't flaws.
