Shelley England Cup and Saucer Gold Veined Green Leaves Gainsborough 1950s Pedestal
This is a Shelley China, England vintage cup and saucer in pattern number 13639/G and the Gainsborough shape with a wonderful unnamed design featuring gold veined green leaves on white bone china and more gold trim.
The pretty teacup with leaves that look either like ivy or grape leaves, was made between 1940 and 1966 when the pottery closed.
The cup is 2.5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.6 in diameter.
The set is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
I love this pretty pattern and it would make a treat of any cup of tea!
