Shelley England 1911 Coronation Mug King George V Queen Mary Lion Back
This is an antique royal commemorative mug made by Shelley China, Late Foley, England in 1911 for the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, grandparents of the present Queen Elizabeth II of England.
The mug measures 3 inches high by 2.75 in diameter and the full color transfer printed design with the back design being the lion holding the dedication.
This is the younger looking set of pictures used by Shelley on their coronation mugs.
The pretty coronation mug is in near excellent used vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations and only very minor gold wear.
This is one of the best Shelley coronation mugs I have had, and I have had a few in 30+ years.
