Shelley Edwardian Blue Rose Sprays Lily Serving Plate 1900 Rambling Rose Aqua
SKU:
This is a Shelley China, England antique cake plate, sandwich plate or serving plate with an aqua transferare floral pattern.
The plate measures 9 inches in diameter and has a teal blue or aqua transfer pattern called Climbing Rose, Rambling Rose or Blue Rose Sprays pattern #10047 with gold trim in the Lily shape made 1910-1916, during the late period that Shelley was made at the pottery in Foley, an area in Stoke-on-Trent.
The design was registered in 1906.
The cake serving plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only very minor signs of use, namely a bit of gold trim wear.
There are a few mineral dust specks from the kiln during manufacturing, but that is normal for this date.
This is a beautiful pattern, very collectible and very hard to find.
