This is a Shelley China, England art deco design cup and saucer in the yellow Dog Roses patter number 12541 with hand colored yellow over sepia transfer with green trim made 1936-1940.

The cup is 2.75 inch high, saucer 5.5 in diameter and the cup and saucer is in very good +++ condition with no chips or wear.

There is a 1 inch long hairline under glaze from the rim of the cup which doesn't go through to the inside and was made in manufacturing, hence the price.

A wonderful deco design.
