This is a vintage Sadler, England holiday or Christmas holly design ceramic tea caddy or tea canister with gold trim made in the 1970s.

The small tea caddy measures 4 inches high by 4 in diameter and is excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  

The tea caddy, jar or canister is a very decorative holiday addition to kitchen, tea tray or tea table and could be used for a lot of things beside teabags, and in many different rooms.
