This is a red transferware salad or luncheon plate by Barratt's, England in the Old Castle pattern number 8451 featuring a landscape design and floral border.

The number dates the manufacture to the 1950s. 

The ironstone salad or luncheon plate measures 8 inches in diameter and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.

A lovely pattern that is hard to find.
