This is a gorgeous red, white and gold martini glass shaped cup and saucer made by Alka, Bavaria, Germany in the 1950s in a pattern of hand painted gold Chrysanthemums on a red marbled band and burnished gold trim.  

The cup is 2.25 inches high by 4.15 in diameter and the saucer is 6.25 in diameter. The tea cup and saucer is striking and gorgeous.

The cup and saucer are in very good +++ condition, really near mint, with no chips or cracks and only minor gold trim wear.  

A beautiful teacup for any tea table or tea party and a real eye popper!
