Pretty Tea Cup And Saucer Paisley Chintz 1950s Vintage Royal Standard Blue Pink
This is a lovely vintage blue, pink, yellow and green paisley cup and saucer from Royal Standard, England with a fabulous paisley chintz pattern made between 1956 and 1966 when the pottery closed.
The pretty tea cup and saucer and has lovely pastels in a paisley design on white bone china and gold trim and is marked with pattern number 1447.
The pedestal and slightly lobed cup measures 3 inches high and the saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter with a scalloped rim to the cup.
Royal Winton, Wade, Shelley and Royal Albert potteries made the exact same pattern at the same time, as the pattern is a transfer available from one of several transfer pattern makers used by the potteries from the 1920s though the 1970s with newer ones operating today.
The pretty cup and saucer is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear.
Really a neat, decorative and collectible pattern, and who doesn't love chintz.
