Plate Souvenir Chicago Post Office Pre WWI Souvenir Bone China 1890s Porcelain
SKU:
This is a porcelain souvenir plate of most likely of Staffordshire or German origin depicting the Chicago Post Office.
The unmarked 8 inch in diameter plate has a wonderful lithograph of the building that was replaced by what is called The Old Post Office in 1920.
The porcelain plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or marks on the center design but does have wear on the gold trim to the scalloped and molded plate rim.
A wonderful historical record of a vanished monument and a decorative item for wall or table.
