This is a large Victorian era antique porcelain plate with a reticulated or open work rim with a basket weave and grape leaf design rim.

The plate was made in the late Victorian era in Germany, 1880-1890, and has a central design of a butterfly and flowers in transfer or transferware that has been hand colored.

The unmarked large plate measures 10 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear to the gold trim.
