Patchwork Tote Bag 1970s Blue Ditsy Prints Handbag Yarn Bag Quilted Needlework
This is a 1970s hand made patchwork tote bag, handbag, purse or needlework bag, to name a few uses, in a ditsy print blues, white and turquoise prints combination of what I think is called Log Cabin and Strip quilting.
The hand made patchwork quilted fabric purse or bag has a coordinating blue print interior, a large velcro closure pocket one side on the exterior and 2 pockets on the other side.
The purse or tote bag measures 11 inches high not counting the handles by 10.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep.
The handles add an additional 6 in height. The bag was made by a trio of ladies who owned a shop in a logging community the mountains of NE California, in Chester for a shop they owned called Splinters.
The purse is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no holes or stains and only some fading and wear on the handles from use.
