The carved milk glass scarab measures 1 inch high by .65 inch wide and is on an 18 inch rope chain with roll clasp.
The pendant or charm was created in 1975 after the popularity of the King Tutankhamun exhibit in the USA started a craze for all things Egyptian.

The back is carved, but are nor actual hieroglyphics but decorative symbols.
The scarab beetle necklace is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a few dark specks in the white milk glass.
