This is a Johnson Brothers, England ironstone small dish, coaster or large butter pat in the Merry Christmas pattern.

The festive holiday design dish features a Victorian design of a hearth with wreath and Christmas tree in hand colored black transfer.

The coaster or pin dish is 4.25 inches in diameter and was made 1950-1960s.

The small Christmas plate is in excellent used vintage condition. This would also work as a tea bag holder, lemon slice dish or any number of other things on the tea table, as well as holding many things in other rooms including rings or paper clips.
