Lemon Server Limoges Hand Painted 1890-1910 Antique T&V Lemon Dish Violets Forget-Me-Nots
This is a T&V or Tressemennes and Vogt, Limoges France lemon server, lemon dish or handled server with a hand painted floral design or Violets or Forget-Me-Nots with heavy gold trim, from the Edwardian era 1890-1910 as the The T&V Limoges mark was used from 1892-1912.
I think that the Limoges porcelain handled lemon dish was bought as a plain white blank and cottage artisan decorated. It is clearly hand painted and nicely done.
The handled lemon server is 1 inch high or 2 inches to the top of the handle by 6 inches long by 5 inches wide.
The artisan hand painted lemon dish is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restorations and just a bit of gold wear on the rim and handle. So elegant!
