This is a large hand made beaded Christmas Tree ornament made in the 1950s using 1930s German Lauscha Mercury Glass beads.

The base is styrofoam, and has bands of greenish gold ribbon bordered with gold filigree, and blue and silver Mercury glass beads which we usually see on blown glass spires.

The ornament has a pipe cleaner with more beads as a hanging loop. The ornament measures 9 inches long with the hanger and is 4 inches in diameter, or 5 inches in diameter including the protruding beads.

There are no missing beads. A great hand made beaded mid century ornament using older antique German materials.
