Historic America Blue Transferware Eggcup Johnson Brothers Double Vintage 1940s Ironstone
This is a Johnson Brothers, England Historic America double egg cup or eggcup of blue transferware made by in the 1931-1950 when the pattern was discontinued.
The ironstone egg cup measures 4.18 inches high by 2.5 inches in diameter of the larger end, and was used for chicken eggs, duck eggs in the larger side or the larger used as a cup for a coddled egg.
The transferware eggcup has a country landscape scene with an acorn and oak leaf border is in very good +++ used vintage condition.
A very pretty blue transferware eggcup, that can also be used as a small vase, a ring holder or many other things.
