This is a mid century hand made and hand beaded Christmas tree ornament in purple and white made by a California woman in the 1950s.

The ornament is a silk thread covered styrofoam egg shape with purple sequins and snow flocked white pearl beads with a brass bell at the base, purple curling ribbon and an oval pearl bead top with a thread hanging loop.

The beaded ornament measures 4.5 inches long including the hanging loop by 2.25 inches in diameter. The retro beaded ornament is in excellent condition and is an unusual color for a Christmas ornament. Neat!
