This is a fun French art deco aluminum trivet with ridges surface and 3 self supports from the 1930s.

The trivet is marked France with a maker's mark of an A and stylized S that I have been unable to identifiy. It is also marked S.C.D.C.

The French deco trivet measures 1.5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter.

Aside from being an interesting and unusual teapot trivet, another sold awhile ago that was identified as a French stovetop escargot dish cooker... but I can't say that is something I am appreciative of, although my husband loves escargot.

The tile trivet is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no flaws seen, and only normal, expected wear.
