Fancy Edwardian Cup and Saucer Cabinet Crown Staffordshire England Floral Gold
SKU:
This is a fancy Crown Staffordshire, England bone china demitasse cabinet cup and saucer made in the 1908-1928 with a lovely pattern of cobalt blue bands with hand painted gold filigree overlay, hand painted flower bouquets and gold trim.
The cup measures 2 inches high and the saucer is 4.75 in diameter and is a mocha or demitasse coffee or tea size.
The cup and saucer is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Because the artist hand painted the interior design with a brush, there is an occasional speck or mark from the brush in the cup which is not considered a flaw and is normal for hand painted items.
Beautiful workmanship and an elegant way to sip your espresso. Crown Staffordshire closed in 1981 which was a shame.
