English Pitcher Brass Pub Jug Repousse Playing Cards 1950s Decor
SKU:
This is a very decorative English brass pitcher or jug that has been hammered into a figural design by a method called repousse.
The pitcher or jug, was made in England in the 1950s and features a tavern or pub scene with a group of men playing cards.
The jug measures 6.5 inches high and is 3 inches in diameter at the base. It is in very good ++ condition with no dents to the body and only 1 minor corrosion spot on the lip which I think would polish out.
A very decorative piece and would be a great mantle ornament with your horse brasses.
