This is a wonderful large English Christmas kittens tea tin, tea canister, biscuit tin or tea caddy with a  fancy shape a Christmas holly and poinsettia chintz design in the Christmas or holiday colors of red, green and gold.

The tea tin or tea caddy is marked Made in England and was made by Daher or Barrett in the 1940s. 

The tea caddy measures 7 inches high by 6 inches long by 4.25 inches wide and has a tight fitting friction lid.

The kittens, undoubtedly from Victorian paintings, are 3 different paintings of kittens playing and getting into mischief...as kittens do! The kittem images are surrounded by a holly and poinsettia chintz on yellow pattern. There is metallic gold trim and accents on the tin.

The tea tin is in very good +++ used vintage condition with minor scartches that I had to look hard to even see. The interior is in excellent condition.

I love these decorative English tea caddy tins, and this especially cute. I don't often see nice vintage Christmas tins nowadays, and this is a beauty!  They are difficult to find now.
