This is an Emma Bridgewater, England 1/2 pint tea mug or coffee mug in the design of Black Headed Gull in the Birds series from 2006.

The ironstone mug measures 3.75 inches high by 3.25 in diameter and is no longer produced. The mug features a charming row of the gulls standing one legged around the mug.

The mug is in very good +++ used vintage condition, and actually looks to have never been used.

Emma Bridgewater designs have been featured in Victoria, Country Living, Country Home, Town and Country and many other publications. The mug is a wonderful English souvenir or decorative accent from a wonderful English potter. 

I have always loved visiting the pottery on each of our English visits.
