This is an antique beaded dress collar or yoke dating to 1910-1920s. The sheer woven silk georgette yoke measures 15 inches long by 12 inches wide and has clear and turquoise clear glass beads and black iridescent and bronze glass beads.

The all hand made beaded yoke or collar front features a 3 dimensional beaded grape or flower bud motif.

The collar is hand hemmed around the neck and sides but was apparently cut from the dress at the bottom.

There are places of wear and a few loose bead strings but most of the beads are there.

A great survival which can perhaps be reused as a collar or the motif and beads used for some other special new creation.
