Edwardian Figural Kniferest Squirrel English 1900-1910 Silver Plated
This is an antique English silver plated pewter figural knife rest in the shape of a squirrel from the Edwardian era, 1900-1910.
I brought home from England. I cleaned it up because it was grungy and now I love it! The knife rest measures 3.75 inches long by 1 inch wide by 1.5 inch high.
The squirrel is sitting up eating an acorn and the bar is his elongated tail.
The cute little squirrel is in excellent used vintage condition and certainly a conversation starter and very collectible!
Knife rests are enjoying a renaissance for use on dining tables, tea tables.
I have even supplied knife rests for use at sommelier tables!
