This is an antique EAPG or Early American Pattern Glass spooner with the wonderful pattern called variously Bird In The Ring, Japan or Japanese and Grace made in the 1880s by Duncan Glass Company, USA.

The spooner has a combination of zigzags, stairways, loops and a bird or parrot in a ring. The spooner 6.25 inches high by 3.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and basically no wear from use with a good, strong pattern.

The spooner is very attractive and is a great tea table talking point.
