This is a neat vintage double ceramic eggcup dating to 1910-1920s featuring a transfer design of what I think are gloxinias, but anyway flowers.

I brought it home from England. It has no marks so I don't know who made it, but probably in Staffordshire, England.

The egg cup stands 4 inches high and is in very good ++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few scratches to the floral transfer from use but really a very nice piece. There are also a few glaze drips done during manufacture.

The boiled egg in shell stands in the little end, or the soft boiled egg is eaten from the large end. The large end was also used for boiled goose eggs.
