This is a vintage Cottage Ware or Cottageware cheese dome, cheese dish, butter dish or cheese wedge which is hand painted in a thatched cottage design by Price Kensington, England from the 1950s.

The cottageware cheese dish measures 5 inches high by 6.25 inches wide by 5.5 inches deep.

Because cottageware is hand painted, each is different, an expression of the artist, which is why I love them!

The ceramic, hand painted cheese dome or butter dish is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only minor age crazing.
