Art Deco Shelley 1930s Cottage 2 Queen Anne Square Serving Bowl 8.25 Inch Bowl
This is a Shelley, England art deco large serving bowl in the Queen Anne shape and Cottage 2 or Thatched Cottage design 11621 with hand colored on transfer cottage, hollyhocks and trees with enamel accents and gold orange color trim.
The bowl, which is an art deco paneled square shape measures 1.25 inches high by 8.25 inches paneled square and was made between 1928 when the design was registered, until 1940 when the mark changed.
The bowl can be used for anything a stylish art deco bowl can be used for.
The bone china bowl is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but with minor signs of use like utensil marks.
One of my favorite Shelley art deco era patterns.
