Antique Spoon Victorian Aesthetic Period Silver Plated Sugar Teaspoon 1880s
This is an antique sugar spoon or teaspoon with an Aesthetic period design made in the 1880s by a small English company called Sheffield Company that only existed for a few years. Very few of their patterns still exist, and none had names.
The gorgeous Aesthetic Movement Victorian silver plated spoon measures 5.5 inches long and is heavily decorated all over with flowers, leaves, swags and geometric designs with a fan or sunburst repousse bowl.
The rarely seen spoon is just so Victorian in it's exuberance, elegance and elegance.
The spoon is in very good +++ used vintage condition with only mnor signs of use.
