Antique Match Holder Match Striker Top Hat Crested China 1900-1910s Toothoick
SKU:
This is a wonderful Edwardian era Crested China or Crested Ware match holder with match striker in the shape of a gentleman's top hat.
The souvenir hat has the coat of arms in hand painted enamel paint for Perth, England and measures 1.5+ inches high by 2.75 inches long by 2 inches wide.
The hat was made 1890-1910 and is unmarked, so I don't know the maker. It looks like an Arcadian Ware or Goss piece which were often unmarked at this date.
The top hat match holder match striker is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks or gold wear.
A neat and useful piece, as they are often repurposed as toothpick holders or small vases. You hardly ever find them anymore.
