Antique Mason's Vista Double Egg Cup Pink Transferware 1890s Ironstone
This is an antique pink transfer or transferware double egg cup in the Mason's Vista pattern made by Masons, England 1891-1910s.
The Edwardian egg cup measures 4 inches high and the large end is 3 inches in diameter.
The egg cup is in very good ++ used vintage condition. We have 3, and all have some minor damage like tiny fleabites to the rims, and all have crazing and crazing. One has a small bottom rim chip.
It is very difficult to fine antique versions of Masons Vista, so little flaws don't detrat from their beauty and decorative value....and you can still use them!
Besides a home for your boiled chicken egg or duck egg, egg cups make great small vases, sauce containers and are a great decorative accent.
