This is an antique Shakespeare hardback or red hard cloth cover 8vo in the Temple Edition of William Shakespeare's King Henry IV Part II with preface and glossary by Israel Gollance with 178 pages and is the "Cambridge" text of the play.

The book was published in 1896 by J. M. Dent and Company, Aldine House, London and has a front engraving of Warkworth Castle and wonderful title page and gold top edge.

The book was purchased for the princely sum of $3.95 in 1945 according to the owner's library inventory.

The book measures 5.5 inches high by 4.25 wide when closed.

The book is in very good used vintage condition with slight spine corner damage, an art nouveau book plate in the front and foxing to the castle engraving.
