Tea Tin Tea Caddy Blue And White Canister Biscuit Tin 1950s England
This is a tea tin, tea caddy or tea canister made in England by Daher or Baret with a blue and white floral design reminiscent of Wedgwood jasperware.
The large tea tin or small biscuit tin measures 7 inches high by 5.5 in diameter.
There has been a felt bottom glued on at some time and I can feel a manufacturers name. This is a shape and design made by both companies in the 1950-1960s.
The tin is in very good ++ used vintage condition but does have a bit of internal rust at the bottom and mild exterior scuffing.
But a great canister for your counter or cupboard and could be used for biscuits...Yanks read cookies...as well as tea.
