Shelley China England Violets Pin Dish Sweetmeat Bon Bon Teabag Holder
This is a Shelley China, England dish called variously a pin dish, bon bon dish or sweetmeat dish in the Ludlow shape and Violets pattern number 13821 made by between 1950-1966.
The sweetmeat dish has lavender trim and is in excellenr used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The sweetmeat dish measures 1.25 inches high by 4.25 inches in diameter.
Occasionally these are listed as ashtrays, although they were not designed as such and could also be used on a desk for paper clips, on a dresser for rings or in the bathroom for hair pins....and wonderful teabag holders or for lemon slices or sugar cubes at the tea table.
