This is a pretty hand made padded tea cozy or tea cosy with a pattern of teapots, creams and sugars with pink and blue chintz binding trim made in the 1960s by an artisan in the USA.  

The tea cozy or cosy measures 9 inches high by 12 inches wide by 1 inches thick and has a grosgrain ribbon covered wooden ring handle at the top.

The tea cosy or cozy would fit a large 4 to 6 cup teapot and is in excellent, used condition with no staining or holes.
