This is a pair of antique solid 14kt gold post earrings made from antique cufflink. 

The cufflink was made in the USA, dating to 1900-1910s, and was turned into a pair of post earrings in the 1970s by my husband, an English jeweler. 

Each earring is octangular shape measuring 1 inch long including the ball fitting by a more than 1/2 of an inch wide with an engraved starburst design all over.

The earring itself is 14kt yellow gold, but the top of the earring has been rhodium plated.

The post and butterfly safety fitting are 14 kt white gold.

The earrings weigh 4.5 grams of gold.
