  • $ 3800

This is a yellow, golden brown or sepia brown transferware Edwardian cup and saucer and matching plate, or teacup trio made by Upper Hanley Pottery, Staffordshire England 1895-1905 with an unusual golden brown transfer color and the vestiges of gold trim.

The cup is cup is 2.25 inches high, the saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the plate is 7 in diameter.

The ironstone cup and saucer with matching plate are in very good ++ used vintage condition with no cracks, one very old tiny chip that was painted gold at sometime and overall crazing which is often prevalent on sets of this age and material. There is also gold trim wear.

But a wonderful shabby and unusual English ironstone set to love in a seldom seen yellow transferware colorway!
