This is a large teapot or tea pot with lid in the vintage 1950s black transferware in the Italian landscape design called Lugano made by Wedgwood, England between 1962 to 1980.
The landscape design Queens Ware or creamware creamer measures 5 inches high by 9 inches long spout tip to handle edge by 6 inches in diameter, and holds 4-6 cups.
The black transferware teapot is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
The is a 1/4 inch area of discoloration on the bottom outer rim that is a manufacturing flaw and is under the glaze.
