This is a brown transfer or transferware ironstone dinner plate in a pattern called Fair Winds made by Alfred Meakin, England in the 1950s.

The plate is 10.5 inches in diameter and the design is a nautical one featuring the sailing ship Friendship Of Salem with surrounding border vignettes of U.S. Delaware Capturing Le Croyable, Canton Port 1830, New York Harbor 1830 and the American Eagle.

The large dinner plate measures 10.5 inches in diameter is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only very light signs of use.

So very decorative.
