Shelley Tea Pot Storks Herons Yellow Brown Gainsborough Shape Teapot
This is a Shelley China, England bone china tea pot or teapot in the early Gainsborough shape and the alternately Herons Or Storks In Flight pattern 12778.
The teapot is in the yellow and brown colorway of yellow bands on white with brown birds and non metallic gold trim and was made between 1938-1946.
The teapot measures 6.5 inches high by 7.5 long by 5 in diameter 35 ounces and holds 4-5 cups.
The teapot is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear, and doesn't look like it was ever used.
A lovely pot in an elegant shape with a wonderful bird design for the tea table.
Collectible and so hard to find!
