This is a Shelley China, England cup and saucer in the English Rose pattern number 13640 in the Gainsborough shape with black exteriors and burnished gold handle, foot and trim.

The cup and saucer has cream or very pale yellow interiors with a pretty pink rose pattern. The bone china pedestal cup is 2.75 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter.

The striking and elegant cup and saucer is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear.

There is a bit of a minor loss of gloss on the saucer which may clean away.
